Jeff Hardee

Jeff is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in building and renovating fine homes in North and South Carolina. His lifelong love of creating began with the first ride in a simple soapbox derby car he built with his father. As he grew, so did his talent. His creations spanned from duck blinds, to decks, and soon after to custom heart pine tables. His appreciation for the arts in the building industry eventually led him to learn the art of blacksmithing. Pursuing his desire to work with his hands, Jeff studied engineering and graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Civil Engineering. Shortly after, he began a career that has spanned three decades and has enabled him to continue doing what he loves - building beautiful things that bring joy to those around him. Originally from eastern North Carolina, Jeff and his wife found their way back to the coast and settled in Awendaw to be near the lush Lowcountry marshes and salty water surrounding Bulls Island. Jeff enjoys being surrounded by family and friends, and you will often find him near his grill serving up oysters or barbeque.

A key part of the team’s philosophy is the knowledge that the worksite is, first and foremost, someone’s current or future home. Because of that philosophy, Jeff’s priority is being available onsite to ensure solid communication between everyone invested in the project. At the end of the day, Jeff’s passion is still building and making beautiful things. He and his team are present every step of the way to turn the lofty paper and pencil ideas into brick-and-mortar structures that will hold cherished memories for years to come.
